Print Quality & Materials
What material is your terrain printed in?
All our terrain is printed in PLA or PLA+ — a plant-based, rigid plastic that produces crisp detail and holds paint beautifully. It's the go-to choice for tabletop hobby use.
What level of detail can I expect?
We print at 0.16–0.2mm layer heights depending on the piece, giving you sharp edges, clean surfaces, and fine textures that take primer and paint like a dream. Some minor layer lines are inherent to FDM printing and add to the handcrafted character of each piece.
Are the pieces pre-assembled?
Most pieces arrive ready to use straight out of the box. Multi-part kits are intuitive to assemble and include any required clips. If you're struggling to put a kit together, get in touch and we'll help out as best we can!
Do I need to prime before painting?
Yes — we recommend a light coat of spray primer before painting. This helps paint adhere and brings out all that lovely surface detail.
Made-to-Order Lead Times
How long does it take to make my order?
As everything is printed to order, please allow 3–7 business days for production before your order ships. Larger or more complex orders may take a little longer — we'll always keep you updated.
Can I get a rush order?
We do our best to accommodate tight deadlines. Drop us a message via the Contact page before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.
Will I be notified when my order ships?
Absolutely. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We ship across the UK and offer international shipping to select countries. Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard UK shipping rates apply at checkout. Orders over £50 qualify for free UK shipping — a great excuse to stock up on terrain!
How long does delivery take?
Once dispatched, UK orders typically arrive within 2–4 business days via standard tracked delivery. Expedited options may be available at checkout.
My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?
Check your tracking link first (sent in your dispatch email). If something looks wrong or it's been longer than expected, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return my order?
Because our terrain is made to order, we're unable to accept returns for change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged or isn't as described, we'll make it right — no quibbles.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
What if I ordered the wrong item?
Get in touch as soon as possible — if your order hasn't entered production yet, we may be able to amend it. Once printing has started, we're unable to make changes.
Care & Handling
How should I store my terrain?
Keep pieces away from direct sunlight and high heat (above 60°C) — PLA can warp in extreme temperatures. A cool, dry shelf or storage box is ideal.
Can I use spray varnish to protect painted terrain?
Yes — a matte or satin spray varnish is a great finishing touch and helps protect your paintwork during play. Apply in thin, even coats.
Is the terrain durable enough for regular gaming use?
Absolutely. Our pieces are printed with solid infill settings designed for tabletop handling. Treat them like any resin or plastic miniature and they'll last for years of adventuring.
